Looking for a bit of fun? Send through submissions in-game pictures of your different characters in outfits they’ll be wearing to events so that Lady Blind Side can serve it to the public and share the latest fashion trends and tragedies hitting Tyria!

  • Add the name of the character (full name and titles) who is modeling, and who they are wearing (Ex: Dolce and Banana).

I MEAN this would be fun except this is so two years ago, plz. Right before they gave up on actual armor sets.  With the exception of new skins last …uh…I forger.

It’s only four years old and I stopped when I got /bored/ of fashion in game because I have done /everything/ and own every dye in game so I said fuck it black and white

((Also you can’t send images in asks so idk how you can make this work as far as submissions but I’ve never had a ‘submissions’ blog so idk how to do!  I know Anet takes submissions though!  And the other gw2 fashion blogs, I think they take submissions.  And the art ones.  I’m pretty sure I see the ‘submitted to’ thing.  You may have to see about how submissions work in terms of images!))

Those of us using the @new-xkit-extension can take links in our asks. Just sayin’. Also, remember, not everyone is bored of trying to make the fashion work, nor have they all given up like me.

Omg, Luke the graffiti artist. Also: I’d imagine Luke’s experience with rebelling against slavery gives him a rather unique skill-set within the Rebellion. Like, everyone’s expecting Naive Farmboy and Luke’s over there talking to the Twilek on the street corner and suddenly he’s got the intel they need. But he can’t leave just yet cause he promised to help out on this one thing, nothing major, just getting some blasters to some people, no worries, he did this all the time back home on Tatooine.

Also because I love the idea that Wedge Antilles is just perpetually astounded by Luke Skywalker, consider this:

Luke: I used to bullseye womp rats in my T-16 back home. They’re not much bigger than two meters.

Wedge: What.

Luke: Sorry guys, just need an extra half-day on planet, gotta run some guns to some people, no big.

Wedge: What.

Luke: Yeah, I got charged a couple times back home for accessory to theft, but they could never make it stick.

Wedge: What.

Luke: Okay, technically it was accessory to grand theft, but who’s counting?

Wedge: What.

Luke, cradling two broken arms and with a lockpick held between his toes: Hey, I got this, my aunt taught me to pick locks when I was a kid.

Wedge: I’m not even surprised anymore. Tatooine people are hardcore af. This is just a fact of life. You could probably set them on fire and they still wouldn’t die.

(Some time later, after the fall of the Empire when all kinds of secrets have come out, and most people are reacting in shock to the revelation that Darth Vader was Anakin Skywalker, Luke’s father, Wedge is completely unphased.

“No, honestly,” he says. “This explains so much. Of course Darth Vader is from Tatooine.”)

Favorite indulgence and feelings surrounding indulging

The small, snowy-haired woman stops, blinks, then gives a soft, bitter laugh. ‘Wallowing in self-pity, I suppose. It’s what I’m best at, really.’ She sighs, shaking her head.

‘Probably not the sort you meant… but… what other people indulge themselves in… I’m not used enough to having. I don’t much like sweets. People keep giving them to me, and, well, raspberry, lime, pineapple, omnomberry… tart flavours that don’t cloy me so quickly. But even then, it doesn’t take much and I’m done. I just don’t eat much, anyway, nor want to.’

She shrugs one shoulder and paces a little. ‘Reading, maybe? I mean, I did go from illiterate gutter-snipe to Magister in the Priory rather quickly once I finally started to learn in earnest. Oh! No, even that’s probably not what you’re really after.’

Turning, she eyes her questioner. ‘Well, you did ask, but still… this one didn’t occur to me because of how much I’ve had sweethearts who were … enough like me in this regard. But, really, sex would be my main indulgence. And so long as I’m not neglecting anything – or anyone – I shouldn’t be, I’m happy enough about that.’

“How do you feel about Rose?”

‘Rose… which one…? Oh! The lovely and mysterious Miss Ambrose!’ She smiles, with a small hint of a shiver. ‘Intriguing, alluring, fun… liked her a lot. Wished I’d got to know her better than I did. I hope she’s actually still around somewhere, and I’ve just not been running into her any more. I’d like to run into her again, for that matter. I only keep saying “was” and the like because it’s been so long. She’s good to talk to, and good to drink with, at the very least.’

Black – Their fears/phobias?

Adriwyn blinks, then chuckles dryly. ‘Now that’s getting awfully personal for someone who isn’t sleeping with me.’ She sighs softly, pacing a little as she considers the question more seriously.

‘There are a lot of little fears… but my overall reaction to those is to get angry, so I guess those only count as irritations. Big fears… probably two. I used to think there were more, but… some are related. Like, being too crippled to be of any use to anyone… that’s just an example from one of the big two. Not sure how to describe that one, though… maybe, being hopelessly helpless. Having no way to do anything to help myself out of something. Like that example of being too crippled, or the times… well, never mind. But there have been times.’

She sighs heavily, settling to a sort of perch against the side of the desk. ‘And the other… which also gets triggered by that “crippled” example, come to think of it… is being abandoned. Being all alone again, and having to start over yet another time. I’m… I’m not sure I could deal with it again.’
