‘Happy…? What makes me happy?’ She ponders a bit, tapping her cheek. ‘There are times when I’m not sure I even know that “happy” is… but even then, Alex breaks through… though at other times… hmm. I suppose, most of the time, it’s small kindnesses, or just enough pleasant company and being able to forget enough of my worries and tensions for a while.
