(( And maybe we combine this with the adventure? Or not combined, but scheduling…. Some days I think I should just move to the UK. Maybe Edinburgh – I liked it there. ))
(( Adri thinks the fact that Pania keeps coming back makes her really interesting – and also makes her worry a bit because it’s too reminiscent of her own time in Orr, which sometimes still gives her nightmares. Plus, she’s worried that she reads too much of herself in Pania. Overall, she’s, in some sense too attracted to her, so trying not to show it / let it distract her too much. ))

As Yang and Dominique accompanied her out of the tea shop and up the hill, Adri mused over the conversations that taken place. She was quite nonplussed by Luna’s offer, in particular. ‘Not that I expect her to be unfriendly, but… something that might have us seeing each other that much? I don’t think Fiona would like that.. and I don’t need more of her dirty looks. Though, Moose… I might need to make time to visit that wolf, and put up with Fi over that.’
She led her helpful friends to the Valenwright manse on Manor Hill, and watched the posturing between them over carrying her trunks. As they made there way to and around the Promenade, she finally threatened to buy a third if they didn’t settle down. They didn’t, of course, but it did diffuse their one-upping to a more tolerable level, which was as she’d intended. They made their way down into the Western Commons, and then up the outside stairs to her new living place – which they found totally unsuitable. She reminded them again that she’s already paid for it through the season, but then had to almost fight Dominique over her lack of a bed. Once that got settled – she hoped – and she assured them that she was going to be fine, and several hugs later, she finally was alone in her little one-room garret.
Unpacking her sleeping rugs, she double-checked her locks, and settled down, hoping to sleep. Something, however, was bothering her about how insistent Dom had seemed, and she found herself mulling over the discussions of the evening. ‘Wiat… wait! Is she… is Dom really wanting me to move in with her? Not just like, “oh you need a place”, but, like… sweet on me?’ She blew a stray bit of hair from her face and rubbed her mouth. ‘Six! I can’t just ask her that – can I? And what do I if that is what she meant? I’m going to have to try harder to make it clear I’m Rose’s.’ She sighed, shaking her head. ‘Though maybe making it clear that cuddling is all I have the energy for these days will have helped.’
Despite fretting over her living arrangements for the time, and her relationships with her friends and fiancée, her emotional and physical exhaustion caught up with her, and she fell into a fitful sleep, filled with unsettling dreams that she’d not really remember when she woke.
