What do their hands look and feel like?

(( Her hands are, thanks to relatively recent events, un-scarred and otherwise unmarked. Despite how small she is, her long fingers aren’t bony, since she’s stronger than she looks (and thus there’s some musculature in her fingers). She’s self-conscious about the lack of scars (having had knife scars most of her life), so she often wears gloves. This keeps them relatively uncalloused, even, despite her weapons work and her jewel-crafting. Because of this and her (now) higher standard of living, she has the soft-feeling hands of an aristocrat – at least until she starts jabbing those fingers into the eye sockets of people who insist on groping her hands. 😛 ))

What is their weapon of choice, and what weapon do they dislike using the most?

(( She loves her daggers. Of course, she made them – and she’s good at that. She’s particularly unhappy when expected to make use of weapons that are too large for her size, though she’s not really terribly fond of even pistols – even though she has good ones and is a good shot. She has sensitive hearing, though, and hates what the pistols do to her ears. She doesn’t mind working with siege engines, though. That probably comes from her time in Orr, serving with the Pact. ))

What foods do they love, and what foods do they refuse to eat?

(( For all that Adri’s often seen eating Flintlock’s raspberry parfaits at the tea shoppe, or sometimes cheesecake there, she’s not big on sweets. She loves limes, raspberries, peaches, pears, and (in moderation) dark chocolate. She loathes lemons. She’s allergic to apples and is lactose intolerant. Then there’s her size… she’s under 90 pounds, and doesn’t eat much of anything even if she loves it. She tries to have some of aleyannadenton‘s pastries to be sociable, but she’s just not really into that. ))

What are they like when they are drunk?

(( Adri tries to avoid being seriously drunk. She’s tiny, so it doesn’t take a lot to affect her, but she watches out for that pretty well. She does get a bit freer with her opinions, rather than guarding her tongue so well, and her ability to keep from showing her reactions to things is impaired the more she drinks. She’ll only seriously drink with really close friends or alone at home, though – and that’s “at home” even with the friends, not out in bars. Then, depending on why she’s drinking, she gets either extra cuddly or extra morose. Even when she does drink to excess, she has the disgusting habit of waking up without a hangover. ))

11. What do they do when they need comfort? Do they seek out a person, a food, an activity, etc?

(( She should seek out her friends and/or lovers – but she doesn’t. Then again, she’s bipolar (type 2), and her friends and lovers don’t “get” that. So, if it’s something that can be comforted, she tends to go for shooting (bow or pistols), running (and sneaking and hiding and stalking), or combining those with making some spare coin by collecting bounties the Seraph still have outstanding in places like the Gendarran Fields and the Harathi Highlands. If it’s just time for her to be uncontrollably depressed, though, she just… holes up. ))

17. Do they have any pet peeves or petty dislikes, and how do they react to encountering them?

(( In some sense, this depends on one’s definition of “petty”. She tries to avoid having any such peeves, mostly because she knows they’re not good for her stress level. However, that just means she has them and tries to suppress any obvious reaction to them – which would get another one of these answered, but I’ll save that for the ask which addressed it.

(( So, really, her biggest obvious peeves are: abuse of authority (so she has lots of issues with many of the current Seraph and Ministry Guard – whee!), and being dismissed/ignored for being small and female. That last one, of course, got people killed in Orr when they didn’t listen to her, so she has some amount of reason for that to get to her – but she still needs to clamp down on her temper when dealing with idiots who don’t really matter. 😛 ))

Sakura and I tried to come up with a list of questions that we didn’t see around very often, and we wanted to share! So, here it is, yet another character-building question meme.
