‘That… might depend on what you mean by “love”. There’s the obvious, of course, in Rose – Baroness Sharo – and Alex LaCoria. But I don’t much fall out of love, even when I’ve been left – which leaves most of my exes still on the list, too. Then, there’s other kinds of love, like I have for Lady Renita Cartwright, or Lady Lux, or Countess don Perevelli, or… well, I have a pretty long list, really. And no, they’re not all nobles – I just move in those circles more of late, so they came to mind soonest, before I started seeing too many faces to keep up with naming.’
