Who in her life does she fear to lose the most? If she did lose them, how devastating would that loss be to her?

‘That… would be tellin’, now wouldn’t it? I don’t need to be making someone a target, or setting myself up for the hurt such a loss would cause.’

(( In fact, for her, there are a lot of people she’d really be devastated to lose. It’s a tie for “most”, between Rose Sharo and Alex LaCoria. Losing either would feed badly into her depressive tendencies, and she would be notably broken by it for a long time, no matter how she’d try to hide it – and she would try. If she lost both, at once or too close together, she’d lose the fight against her depression. Within a few weeks, she’d find the highest spire she could climb, take off her greatcoat with the built-in glider and advanced armour – and jump. ))

🚿 — hygiene

(( She prefers to stay quite clean, bathing after major exertions, keeping her clothes at least aired out well, and washed often. She’s not afraid to smell of fresh sweat, and she won’t compromise safety for cleanliness, but now that she’s of sufficient means to get to bathe when she wants to – she takes advantage of that. ))

Preferred mode of dress and rituals surrounding dress

(( This one’s complicated to answer – which is good. Adri likes fancy dresses, and wishes she could dress like Lux and Adonya, or at least like Linneia. She has body image issues, though, and doesn’t feel like she can do that. Also, she doesn’t have their status to protect her should she find herself having to find off groping hands, and she’s all too well aware of that.

(( Part of her self-image issue is her size and figure, but a lot of it is the scars she used to have. Now that she doesn’t, she’s getting a bit braver in what she wears – but she also far too often needs armour rather than just clothing. She’s taken to getting sum advanced flexible armour added to her clothing, working with a krewe in Rata Sum, but it’s not as good as what she can hide in her usual leathers, as her current broken shoulder demonstrates.

(( As for rituals surrounding dress, she really doesn’t have any – in part from usually dressing alone with no help, and not having been exposed to the notion of trying to have any rituals. She tries to be sure she looks as good as she can in a hurry, but that’s about it. ))

Is there one subject of study that they excel at? Or do they even care about intellectual pursuits at all?

(( She’s drawn to histories, and ferreting out the truth from the various shadings and “spin” various writers always have – but she’s proved to be best at learning languages. Combining those is why such an otherwise under-educated twenty-year-old (at the time) got to be a Magister in the Priory despite her lack of earlier formal education. ))

How far did they get in formal education? What are their views on formal education vs self-education?

(( She kept having to hide from the Seraph to avoid getting “restored” to the abusive families that had adopted her, so she had effectively no formal schooling at all, since that mess started when she was not quite seven. She had the barest groundwork for how to read, and that was it. Once she had a reasonably stable place to live, she took to learning quite well, but she has a lot of gaps in her knowledge, and she knows it. She thinks a mix of formal education and self-directed study is probably best. ))

Concept of home and family?

(( She really doesn’t have a good grasp on “family”. It doesn’t help much that her “best” (most exposure) reference is the Larkspurs (sorry, Lux!). The closest she comes to understanding it is to map it to “gang” in her head. She knows that’s not quite right, but it’s all she really knows.

(( “Home” she has a better handle on, in that it’s something she’s had more often than not in the last 3-4 years. It’s people to her, though, and never really a place. ))

How misanthropic are they?

(( She’s not nearly so misanthropic as her writer, but she does have her borderline sociopathic tendencies. So, she likes her friends and likes to be with them, but “the great unwashed masses” are potential threats and/or potential victims – unless there’s some kind of crisis to “humanize” them to her. That quirky “I can care then” aspect of her is why she’s good with the Roses. ))
